Pilot Door Systems Wall System Part List and Application

8” Pier: To be used on the side of header where corridor comes into an existing wall or Pilot Door Flush Wall system.  (Two screws on bottom attaching it to bottom brace, three screws attaching header to pier, two screws attaching header brace to pier.)

16” Pier: To be used on either side of header on a continuous hallway of Pilot Door Flush Wall system.  (Three screws on bottom attaching it to bottom brace, three screws attaching header to pier, two screws attaching header brace to pier.)

16” & 8” Header Brace: To be mounted and fastened to Pilot Door Pier (18” on 16” Pier, 4” on door side of 8” Pier). Fasten Brace to Header with 2 screws wherever the Brace sits on a Pier leg.

Header: Fasten Pilot Door Header with 2 screws onto Header Brace and Pier.

White Self Tapping Screws: To be used on Pilot Door Flush Wall, Pier and Header System.  Approx. 20 screws per unit front.  Approx 6 screws per 1’ Flush Wall Panel.  These screw numbers include fastening channel to panels. 

8” Bottom Brace: To be anchored to floor during floor plan set-up.  Long leg facing the hallway.

16” Bottom Brace: To be anchored to floor during floor plan set-up.  Long leg facing the hallway.

2” White Channel: To be used on the top of the Pilot Door Pier/Header system.  (Number of screws used determined by how many it will take to secure the channel properly).

1 ½” x 1 ½” 22 G. (heavy gauge) Galvanized L Channel: To be used as the top and front (attached to pier) support of Pilot Door Sentry Divider Wall system.  Also used for Ledger and mesh support when required.

1 ½” 28 G. (light gauge) Galvanized Channel: To be used as the bottom channel for Pilot Door Sentry Divider Wall system.  Anchored to floor.  Also can be used for Burglar Bar application.

12” Flush Wall: Used for hallways/walls where there is no unit door. 


19” Galvanized Sentry Divider Wall Panel: Installed with 1 ½” light gauge channel on floor with 1 ½” x 1 ½” L channel on top, L channel on front fastened to Pier.  Fastened into both bottom and top channels where panels overlap, and approx. every 4’ horizontally.  Approx 8 galvanized self tappers per panel.

1 ½” Galvanized Hat Channel: To be used as burglar bar above corridor. Also used as mid-span, bottom, and top brace for corrugated walls. 

1 ½” White Channel: To be used on top and bottom of Pilot Door Flush Wall and Corrugated Wall system.  Bottom channel anchored to floor.  Top channel secured to Flush or Corrugated Wall panels.

 3/4” x 2” White Top Flashing: To be used as trim for the top and ends of Corrugated Wall panels.

2” x 2” White Corner Trim Inside/Outside: To be used on corners of wall systems as trim.

J-Trim: To be used on man-door openings. Trim on the outside of doorway to match wall systems.Type your paragraph here.
